Day Pass Price: 120 THB

Address: Soi 94, 10/234, Hua Hin, Hua Hin District, Prachuap Khiri Khan 77110, Thailand

First Impressions

Fitness Hua Hin is a very simple, no-frills gym located on Soi 94. It is an undercover, open-air setup with fans only and a very local gym feel. The gym was clean and tidy, with cleaning spray and wipes available. The staff and 'cat manager' were welcoming, and other gym-goers were friendly, giving the space a relaxed, community-style vibe. The equipment is older and clearly well used, but everything was functioning and maintained. At 120 THB for a day pass, it is a fair price for what is on offer.

The Space

The gym is wide and open, which helps with airflow since it is fans only. There are two free-weight areas, one indoors with fans and another outdoor section out the back.

We trained in the middle of the day, and while it was warm, the open layout made it manageable. This is definitely a gym where choosing the right time of day matters, depending on the weather and season you are visiting Hua Hin. The space is not large, but it is laid out simply and efficiently, allowing you to move between equipment easily.

Facilities and Equipment

Facilities are basic but clean. Bathrooms and lockers are available, along with a drinks fridge.

The equipment is older, including some early Life Fitness-style machines from the 90s, but they are still working well. While the range of motion on some machines felt a little clunky, everything was usable and maintained. This is very much a back-to-basics gym. The equipment range is limited, but there is enough variety to put together a complete workout if you are willing to be a little creative.

My Workout Experience

I trained back at this gym and was able to put together a solid session. My calluses definitely felt the older textured bars, but despite the equipment showing its age, everything worked as it should. While the range of motion on some machines wasn’t ideal, there was enough variety to keep the workout effective and worthwhile.

Hubby also trained back and biceps and found the setup efficient enough to get the job done. It’s not fancy or polished, but it delivers where it matters.

My Gym Review Rating

Fitness Hua Hin is a straightforward, budget-friendly gym that does the basics well. It is ideal if you are staying nearby and want a simple place to train without paying for extras you do not need.

My Final Word

During our visit to Hua Hin, I trained at four local gyms, all very different in vibe, location, day prices, air-con versus no air-con, and equipment. These reviews are designed to give you a clear and honest picture of what is available so you can choose the gym that best suits your training style and preferences.

Fitness Hua Hin would rank third out of the four gyms I visited. The equipment is older, but it is maintained, functional, and provides enough variety for a complete workout if you are willing to work with what is there.
